Coos Hispanic Allies (formerly Coos Hispanic Leadership Committee) would like to thank our funders, United Way of Southwestern Oregon, Oregon Community Foundation (OCF), and Oregon LatinX Leadership Network (OLLN). In October, their generous donations made it possible for us to distribute $10,800 in our first round of relief funds to 23 local Hispanic families that have been impacted by Covid-19. These members of our community have been greatly affected by the pandemic and need assistance with rent, bills, food, and healthcare, both mental and physical. Many recipients and their families have suffered the consequences of being infected by the coronavirus. These funds have made it possible for us to distribute a second round of relief. This month, we will distribute $23,225 to 103 local Hispanic individuals affected by Covid-19. Coos Hispanic Allies, and the local Hispanic community, are grateful to the above-mentioned organizations and their generous contributions as they provide aid to a local demographic struggling with the effects of the pandemic. The generosity of United Way, OCF, and OLLN is inspiring. These donations helped local Hispanics eat and pay bills. As a result, these recipients now want to get involved with Coos Hispanic Allies and our work in the community. In the holiday spirit, these are gifts that keep on giving!

Los Aliados Hispanos de Coos (anteriormente Comité de Liderazgo Hispano de Coos) desean agradecer a nuestros financiadores, United Way of Southwestern Oregon, Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) y Oregon Latinx Leadership Network (OLLN).
