The COVID-19 Pandemic has left governments reeling in the wake of an unprecedented economic upheaval. While most government agencies are overwhelmed, Oregonians are turning to Facebook to get answers about their Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) applications. There is a Facebook group just for Oregon 1099 employees/Self-employed people where people are sharing their experiences, headaches, and advice on applying for PUA.
