Participants will engage in discussion with a panel of speakers around the concepts of capacity and consent, and learn what constitutes a viable request for guardianship of an individual; how to make referrals to the Oregon Public Guardian & Conservator Program; and how the individual’s
rights are protected through the Court Visitor process.
