Common Ground Mediation

Detailed Information

Common Ground Mediation advocates for collaborative conflict resolution by providing education and affordable mediation services.*

People interested in volunteering with our organization can visit our website to find more information about our training opportunities, or call or email our office.

Our volunteer mediators provide alternative dispute resolution services to the Coos & Douglas County communities for a range of topics, including landlord-tenant, small claims/personal debt, neighbor-to-neighbor, family disputes (custody/parenting plan, marriage dissolution, elder mediation, parent-teen, and siblings), workplace disputes (employer-employee, employee-employee), and more.

We provide several education opportunities for the community including our 40-hour Basic Mediation Training for those interested in developing their conflict resolution skills for personal or professional development or anyone who is interested in becoming a volunteer with Common Ground Mediation. We can also design communication and conflict management workshops for your organization, school, business, or community group. Open Space Facilitation services are offered for groups who are interested in communicating and working together more cohesively.

*Common Ground Mediation does not provide legal advice or force participants into agreements.
