Washed Ashore Project

We turn plastic pollution from the ocean into art to bring attention to a global issue.

Art To Save the Sea

It’s estimated that there are MILLIONS of pounds of plastic in our oceans today. Join environmental artist, Angela Haseltine Pozzi and the Washed Ashore movement to educate and create awareness of ocean debris and plastic pollution and its effect on marine life.

NBC Channel 4 in Washington, DC reported on the Washed Ashore Exhibit at the National Zoo in Washington DC, showcasing ocean pollution.

The sculptures are bright and beautiful but they serve a purpose: Informing the public about the millions of pounds of trash that winds up in our oceans. News4’s Wendy Rieger takes a look at the “Washed Ashore” exhibit on display at the National Zoo.
