The North Bend Public Library and Wildlife Safari invite children of all ages for a Wildlife Safari: Here Today, Gone Tomorrow? program on Tuesday July 9 at 2:00 PM at the North Bend Event Tent located on Union Avenue. During the program, learn the difference between endangered and vulnerable species, what causes species extinction, and what zoos and scientists are doing to recover species populations. Also, experience an up-close encounter with 4 animal ambassadors – an American badger, a rainbow boa, a desert tortoise, and a black-tailed prairie dog.
