Volunteers Needed for 2nd Saturday Cleanup Project for North Bend Mainstreet

Come spend a couple hours with the Oregon Bay Area Beautification (OBAB) group help spruce up downtown North Bend during July Jubilee. The 2nd Saturday cleanup will be on Saturday, July 13.

Volunteers will meet at North Bend’s new visitor center, located at 745 California Ave. The clean up effort is during the morning from 10am-12pm, with sign-ins starting at 9:45pm. Show your love for North Bend and help with light litter pickup, weeding, and anything else that North Bend Mainstreet has in store for volunteers. The cleanup area will be in the Mainstreet district that includes the library, to the Liberty Theatre, to the North Bend Boardwalk. Bring gloves, weeding tools, comfortable shoes to wear, trash grabbers if you have them, water, and sunscreen. Trash bags and the disposal will be taken care of.

This is a kids and family friendly event. Youth under 18 need to have a release form signed by parent/guardian. Kids 14 and under will need adult supervision. Contact OBAB for details.
